Edgar L. Parrish, CFP, CIMA, AIF
Edgar L. Parrish is the Managing Principal of Precipio Wealth Management, which he co-founded in 2009. Edgar’s primary focuses are overall direction of the practice and investment of client portfolios as Chief Investment Officer.
Edgar has 42 years experience in financial services advising high net worth, multi-generation
families, their trusts and retirement plans, and small to mid-level institutions. Prior to Precipio,
Edgar spent a combined 30 years in investment management consulting holding
various professional designations at Shearson Lehman Brothers, UBS Financial Services and Merrill Lynch.
Edgar is a Vietnam Era veteran and served as a Captain in the U. S. Air Force Reserve Medical
Education and Certifications
Edgar is a graduate of the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia with a
Bachelor of Science in Commerce degree. He is a graduate of the Securities Industry Institute.
Edgar holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER
designation from the CFP Board of Standards. Additionally, he holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA ) designation in conjunction with the Investments & Wealth Institute and The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF ) designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies, FI360.
Edgar served as a member of the Advisory Board of the McIntire School of Commerce from 2002 to 2013, and in the Hearing Board arbitrator panel of the New York Stock Exchange. Edgar is a member of the Investments & Wealth Institute
